Exclusive Free After9 Lifestyle x Noon private viewing of ‘Filling In The Pieces In Black’ Curated by June Sarpong at Saatchi Gallery.
Here at After9 Lifestyle we are all about community, collaborations and prioritising joy in our daily lives.
Which is why we have partnered up with our Queenager sisters over at Noon to invite you to an EXCLUSIVE FREE private view of ‘Filling In The Pieces In Black’ Saatchi Gallery Kings Road on Sunday 26 November at 12pm. Broadcaster, author and diversity advocate, June Sarpong, who curated the ground-breaking exhibition will be in conversation with Noon founder Eleanor Mills.
Thelma Mensah founder @After9Lifestyle will be there to greet you and show you around on the final day of this fascinating and vibrant exhibition which June describes as “a real labour of love. As a woman whose heritage hails from the African Diaspora, I feel there is so much about the rich tapestry that makes up the Black experience that has been either omitted, distorted or invalidated. My aim as curator of this show is to help present a more balanced representation of the many strands of the fabric of the indelible soul of Black people. As a medium, visual art has the power to change the way humans see themselves and each other. This show brings together an incredible collective of contemporary artists who are using their creativity to help shape a more rounded narrative of Black culture.”
This will be the very last chance to see this ground-breaking exhibition because it ends on this day. Do come and join us for a very special Sunday lunchtime event; make some new friends and see some amazing black art from some of the most talented artists of today.
This event is FREE but we need to know about numbers so please reserve your place by selecting the, Filling In The Pieces In Black link.
